There’s a narrow line between ranting pedestrian tripe and entertaining dialog. I’m not totally sure which side of that line I’m on with this podcast. Maybe it straddles the line. Check it out, see what you think, and feel free to feedback - either here or via email to the address in the show.

I did it again.. and.. uh.. it’s a bit long and ranty/ravey.. I used a lower quality setting though, so even though the file’s only a little bit bigger than the last one, it’s about 3 times the size, wheeeeee! :-)

I talk about Adam Curry.. and I totally meant to say this but kinda forgot.. his last 2 podcasts have just been him talking while he’s been driving from somewhere to somewhere else.. which sounds dull as fuck when you read it like that, but when you’re listening it actually is pretty entertaining! Check his podcast out at www.dailysourcecode.com, he’s got a lot of interesting stuff to say.

So I did it again.. and it’s better but still not quite as good as I’d like..

Thanks to the people who commented here and/or emailed me - your feedback is much appreciated! This episode of my foray in to the podcasting world was done using OtsDJ (formerly known as OtsJuke) and it was a lot easier to put together than using the CastBlaster software I used previously. The microphone’s still loud/hissy in places, I had hoped that the music would be quieter as that was something that was mentioned with the previous one, but alas, it’s not.. well.. it is, but still not as much as it should be.. room for some tweaking there I think..

Give it a listen, see what you think, comments and/or emails if you feel motivated..

So blah blah blah.. I was bored and thought I’d have a muck around with this whole podcasting thing.. and holy fuck was it ever hard work! Mostly due to the fact that I’m used to doing this kind of thing in a proper studio with proper equipment, rather than wrestling with settings on a PC governing output volume, input gain, whether I need microphone boost ticked or unticked, yadda yadda etc etc.

The result? Around 5 and a half minutes of me waffling on about random shit that may or may not be entertaining. Check out the link above then comment here with your feedback or send email to the address given at the end of the thing.

I forgot to mention Pocky.. those little savoury stick things that are dipped in chocolate and usually come in red boxes? They come in a dark green boxes too now, called Pocky Men.. which now that I think about it, sounds a bit like Pokemon? Hmm.. conspiracy? Point is - what’s the difference between the two products? Anyone? Do tell!

Back to the podcast thing… The audio quality is shite, maybe I can be arsed doing it again, maybe it was the worst idea ever.. either way, Jared said he’d listen (and let me look after his car while he goes off to Australia?) and Brian said he’d check it out too.. so YAY for 2 listeners.. comments here or via email (but if you say it’s shite I’ll kick you!).

Late… bed… must… sleep… hate… podcasting…
