My World

HOW many weeks since I last updated this thing? Uh.. about 4 actually.. which is probably at least 3 too many, but meh - what can you do eh? kids these days, honestly..

Here’s the one paragraph update: I took a week off work. I loved it. I got a car. I really love it. I passed the 1000km point last night. I got a GPS unit. I like it, but don’t love it. I’m enjoying my job at the moment. My dishwasher is leaking and I need a plumber. My parents are coming to visit. I’m going to have more time off work. I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time wasting time on the internet. I got a new colo server and have to move stuff over to it.

I bought chow mein earlier. The fortune cookie said “It’s not the hours you put in, but what you put into the hours that count.” - I thought that was kind of cool.

Current mood: Content.

Current thoughts: Does anyone read this? Do I care? Should I bin it off when I move to the new server? Should I use my other domain for my personal blog? If I do, how does that reflect on me personally? Would I be better off dorking around with code tonight instead of chatting on MSN and killing time on YouTube? Are my towels dry yet? Do I have to go to work tomorrow?

Love: Sunny weather

Hate: Having to go to the dentist on a nice day like today (and feeling nauseous after the fluoride swish thing)

Love: Summer BBQs and hanging out for good times with good people

Hate: The elevators in my building being fucked, and having to climb 15 flights of stairs

Love: The satisfaction of pulling a gray hair out with a pair of tweezers

Isn’t it funny how some women have huge arses despite not actually being very large generally? Like.. pear shaped arses?

At work, doing work, with my iPod on.. finish listening to a couple of episodes of The Daily Source Code plus listening back to my latest podcast and the audio switches to music - it’s the first song off Robbie Williams’ new album.. He bursts in to song within 2 seconds with “Here I stand victorious, the only man who made you cum“, with emphasis on that last word.. it made me grin :-)

I’m sure I had another random thought from earlier in the morning but I can’t remember what it was now.. ho hum..
